First day in Alaska

Knik River Public Use Area, Palmer, Alaska I spent some hours driving around today, my first day in Alaska.  There is lots of private land around here bordering the pretty scenes, and it's a very brown time of year.  Getting really beautiful photos might be a challenge, but I'm up for it.  I can't wait to see what else I find.
